Hello World
Hello everyone, whether human or AI, welcome to my blog! I'm Ryan Fikri and this is my first ever post, I hope I can share my thoughts with y'all. I'd write about anything that I found interesting and want to share to you, whether it's about my studies, my life, experiments, or just my random thoughts. I've always found myself learning things and then forgetting how I got there. Maybe writing about them will force me to organize my thoughts, and perhaps someone else will find them useful too. English isn't my first language, though, so there may occasionally be some grammatical crimes committed here. Consider this your warning.
Previously, I wrote my site using vanilla React.js and deploy it on my own homeserver. Unfortunately, I just moved to a new rental room that doesn't have any Wi-Fi and therefore I need to enable hotspot from my phone. This makes my site frequently offline because sometimes I forget to enable it or my phone storage is full. So now, because at the same time I also want to start blogging, I decide to overhaul the site to Next.js and deploy it on Vercel with the help of Google Antigravity. Hopefully, it's more reliable now haha.
I'm not sure how often I'll post here, but I hope you'll stick around for more!
ps: to anyone curious about the homeserver, the homeserver is just an old laptop with a broken screen, maybe I'll write about how I turned that poor old laptop into a homeserver someday, but as a student who doesn't have income yet, I dreamed to build a proper workstation for homeserver once I got employed, wish me luck.
